This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Senior Technical Manager, Communications System Engineer for our office in New York, NY . The following locations will also be considered: Newark, NJ and Valhalla, NY . Be involved in projects with our Transit and Rail Communications Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact: - Leads the design process for security systems (access control/video surveillance) and communications for transit and rail/transportation facilities projects. - Draws on experience in A/E design process to produce final constructible plans and specifications. - Review regulations and standards necessary to conduct technical studies and carry out project activities. - Analyzes project task needs, changes and enhancements and makes recommendations. - Serves as Task Lead and/or PM on projects, medium to high complexity and provides direction for projects, able to perform and complete tasks independently. - Stays abreast of industry changes and requirements, policies, procedures and legislation. - Strong understanding of scope, schedule and budget. - Assist with the...
