About the role: 8 South is a 24-bed surgical ward delivering care across a diverse range of specialties including colorectal, upper gastrointestinal, ENT, surgical oncology, dental and trauma. The Short Stay Surgical Unit supports patients undergoing elective procedures, where you will play a key role in coordinating and leading the discharge process, ensuring patients are informed, prepared and supported to return home safely. Provide comprehensive post-operative care for patients following elective and emergency surgery, including those transferred from the Intensive Care Unit after complex surgical procedures or trauma.
