Job DetailsJob Location: Main Office - Ludington, MI 49431Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyJob Shift: 2nd ShiftSUMMARY: Providing safe and quality food is the job of all House of Flavors employees. The Sanitation Technician, an at-will employee working under the direction of the Sanitation Manager and Supervisor, works to sanitize equipment using methods prescribed by the Food Safety Program. The Sanitation Technician works independently or with others; troubleshoots mechanical problems; accurately documents cleaning procedures; and, works safely with a variety of cleaning chemicals. All Good Manufacturing Practices and general safety practices are observed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Cleans and sanitizes process equipment which includes: tanks, freezers, fillers, pumps, pipes, product contact surfaces, conveyors and any other production equipment. 2. Disassembles and reassembles equipment using lock-out and tag-out procedures; following all food safety Good Manufacturing Practices and using proper set up methods. 3.
