Job description

Summit Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Computing Engineer to develop advanced power and energy propulsion systems for unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) and other areas within our client’s business units. You will work with an interdisciplinary research and development team comprised of engineering, scientific, power generation, power storage, and security experts to develop, implement, and test embedded systems solutions utilized in UUVs and other mission-critical applications. Leverage your experience in robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous vehicles, space systems, missile systems, submarines, robotic warfare, and/or naval technologies to support national security missions, ocean exploration, and subsea infrastructure. Certain innovations may also be deployed across other functional domains within the client’s established commercial power generation, storage, and distribution systems. This is a fulltime on-site role located in Niskayuna, NY . Only U.S. Citizens will be considered as this role requires a DoD secret clearance.
