Team Leader - Secondary Operations

Job description

Essential Functions To support the Secondary Operations Supervisor in supervising team members to ensure that production targets are met in a safe and compliant manner. Specific Responsibilities: - Team Supervision - Assign tasks and monitor performance - Train new employees and support skill development - Effectively manage any conduct or performance issues with the support of the Supervisor and/or Departmental Manager. - Production Management - Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved working with ATD & TOC - Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes as needed - Appropriately escalate any machine breakdowns or production issues - Operate machinery as required - Quality - Ensure quality procedures are understood and being adhered to - Work with quality teams to address defects or improvements - Health & Safety - Lead by example in promoting the EHS culture, ensure all team members are compliant with safety procedures to include PPE adherence - Identify and report Incident Free Events and ensure team members do the same - Report and investigate any incidents - Process Improvement - Maintain and improve housekeeping through implementing 5S workplace organisation...
