Job Description: MIMO antenna arrays in waveguide antenna technology are widely used in Radar sensors for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in the automotive domain. One Radar sensor must cover several functions with different requirements for the antenna system. Your work comprises the design of a new MIMO antenna system enabling an enhanced range of functionality for these Radar sensors. - In your master thesis you will evaluate new MIMO antenna concepts based on waveguide antenna technology. - You will design a new antenna system and assess the design for the waveguide technology. - Furthermore, you will be responsible for the simulation of the design and the evaluation for different automotive functions (Long Range, Mid-Range, Short Range Radar). - Finally, you will be working in a mixed team of RF and Signal processing experts....
