Material Coordinator

Job description

The Material Coordinator performs most aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., receiving, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, issuing and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Operates the Standard Ammunition and Accounting System, and utilizes manual records to perform stock control and accounting procedures for ammunition, explosives and associated explosive components. Work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily operation of SAAS System and the (SAAS-MOD) stock account. Maintain accounting and control for all types of ammunition used or maintained at Fort Polk. Post all accountable vouchers to the stock record account.
