Description Tulane University , one of the nation’s premier research institutions, seeks a collaborative and interdisciplinary scholar to serve within the School of Science and Engineering as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering . The successful applicant will be expected to establish a high-caliber research program that addresses important problems at the nexus of technology, biology, and/or healthcare while contributing substantially toward our renowned undergraduate and graduate educational programs. Applicants pursuing research in all fields of biomedical engineering are welcome and will receive full consideration. Especially encouraged to apply are those candidates whose research makes use primarily of computational methods and would align our department’s strategic priorities in the cognitive cyber nexus and precision health therapy/diagnostics.
