Melton Country Club (MCC), part of the Essendon Football Club has a rare opportunity for an experienced customer-oriented Bistro / Functions Supervisor to work flexible part-time hours to assist with our busy bistro and functions trade. - Casual or part time position at 30 hours per week - Supportive and focused team - Attractive employee benefits About the role: Reporting to our Duty Manager’s and playing a key role in the team, you will work across the Club supporting all aspects of our Bistro and Functions trade. Responsibilities include: - Overseeing bistro and function wait staff - Rostering of appropriate staff for both bistro and functions - Servicing of bistro and functions - Ordering of bistro supplies - Liaising with the Functions Manager to ensure client needs are met - Setting and packing down of functions - Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer concerns tactfully and professionally. - Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff - Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards About you: With previous experience in a similar role, you exercise effective management skills, you are an excellent co...
