Title: Pallet Jack Operator, 2nd Shift Req ID: 9249 City, State: Hartwell, GA, Georgia (US-GA) Classification: Nonexempt: Recruiter: Jennifer Berry Fleming: PALLET JACK OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION: Primarily responsible for transporting product via electric pallet jack. This job requires that employees carry different loads when needed and help out in other areas when necessary. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: - Check specified labels of products to verify right content on boxes. - Take product from one location to another location when needed. - Assist in helping others as needed. - Needs to get certified before using any kind of driving equipment. - Frequently lifts up to 40lbs and occasionally lifts up to 60 lbs. - Walks throughout the facility frequently. Distance can range from 1 to several miles per day. Must be able to stand on their feet and walk around for long periods of time. - Must have good visual skills including the ability to see and distinguish colors.
