Blaster / Coater / Painter II

Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Blaster / Coater / Painter II to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Blaster / Coater / Painter II performs painting on equipment, material, or structures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Identify all tools required for tasks. - Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks. - Identify and mix paint and coatings as required and sand blast structures - Know the proper use and techniques (stroke types) required per the paint/coating used and the item being painted or coated. - Must be able to work at heights and off ladders and scaffolds safely. - Housekeeping/Cleanup work areas. - Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
