Light Show Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and take down of one of NOVA Parks’ three holiday light shows. This position is part-time, up to 40 hours per week, with health benefits offered. Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour: Major Duties/Specific Tasks: - Perform basic electrical and wiring tasks including converting and/or refurbishing light show displays. - Repair damaged light show displays, including minor welding repairs. - Organize and maintain inventory of supplies. - Assess condition of displays and equipment; make recommendations for repair or replacement. - Design and fabricate new displays as directed. - Assist full time staff to ensure efficient and safe installation and take down of displays and features as directed. - Operate man lifts and forklift during installation and take down. - Test, troubleshoot, and repair displays during installation. - Ensure displays and features are organized and in good condition during take down. - Work closely with the high tree contractor. - Turn on and turn off show during operating season. - Troubleshoot and repair displays and features during operating season. - Make minor repairs and perform main...
