Job description

This position can be based in Durham, NC or Salt Lake City, UT and offers a hybrid schedule (50% onsite, 50% remote) with an every-other-Friday-off schedule (9/8/80). We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Global Center of Excellence for Litigation. This role will support global litigation, investigations, and enforcement matters, working closely with regional legal teams and business leaders to manage disputes, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, strategic problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance risk while supporting business objectives. Primary Duties: Litigation & Dispute Resolution: - Manage commercial litigation, product liability disputes, and pre-litigation matters globally. - Develop and implement litigation strategies in collaboration with regional legal teams and external counsel. - Oversee discovery, document preservation, legal holds, and eDiscovery processes. - Support settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution efforts.
