Class 2 Core Machine Operator Department: Manufacturing - Foundry: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Columbia, PA - Plant: Reporting To: Darrin Steadman: Compensation: $21.79 / hour: Description: As a Class 2 Core Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring core making machines used in molding or casting metal or thermoplastic parts. Your duties include positioning patterns, assembling mold sections, and ensuring proper operation of equipment. You may also operate a forklift—once certified—to transport materials and finished products. All tasks must be performed with a strong commitment to safety and responsibility. How You Will Help: - Position patterns, inside mold sections and clamp sections together. - Set up, operates, or trends metal or plastic molding, casting, or core making machine to mold or cast metal or thermoplastic parts or products. - May Operate forklift.
