Electrical Design Engineer

Job description

The role: We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join our Electrical Design Team based in our offices in Newcastle city centre. Working on a variety of exciting and bespoke engineering projects for our Offshore Energy product market group. You will be responsible for: - Electrical Design. - Specification Writing. - Specifying of parts. - Costing of Projects. - Technical Support to Customers. - Inspection and Test / FAT writing. - working on Electrical Department Standardisation and Efficiency Initiatives. - Undertake the electrical design of work packs or projects with minimal supervision. - Delivery of complex engineering solutions to agreed time scales and budgets. - Ability to estimate, forecast, plan and execute to agreed plans. - Provide technical support and guidance for commissioning and installation activities. - Active engagement in Teams across the business. - Willing to challenge themselves and further their knowledge and experience as well as that of the business.
