Lead Millwright (Sawmill Maintenance) Northwest Hardwoods Inc. Location: Hamilton, MI: Pay Range: $32-35/hr DOE: Shift: 1st: Key Responsibilities and Duties: - Must follow and promote safety policies and procedures and perform all work according to existing policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of quality and workmanship in performing the duties. - Maintain and follow preventive maintenance schedules for all assigned equipment - Perform routine and complex repairs, replacements, and enhancements on manufacturing operational equipment, site facilities, and mobile equipment. - Document procedures, downtime, root causes, and resolutions; complete all required maintenance reports and logs. - Change oil and grease - Ability to complete simple projects (changing bearings, sprockets, and chains) - Basic Welding Skills - Pipe Fitting Knowledge, able to thread and fit a pipe - Have a strong desire, dedication, and determination to succeed, by continually improving skills through on-the-job training and various offered educational opportunities Competencies: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, industrial mechanic, millwrigh...
