Job description
As a Registered Nurse with The Menta Education Group, you will oversee the health and well-being of students, act as a resource for health education and maintain student records and data for compliance purposes. Must have IL R.N. License: Staff Hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, following a school calendar Direct Hire with our school: Return School Year after School Year No Nights, No Weekends, No Federal Holidays Responsibilities: - Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services. - Obtain and review consents for medication administration in school. - Document each instance for medication administration. - Train designated staff on medication administration and documentation of medication administration - Maintain security of school health supplies. - Instruct students in health education. - Correspond with parents and medical providers on the health needs of students. - Record immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data. - Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly. - Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP directed. - Develop Individual Health Care plans for stud...
