Title: Skilled Trades Instructor Department: Apprenticeship & Applied Learn: Campus Location: Arnold/Main Campus: Salary Range: $45/hour: Work Mode: This position requires some regular in-person presence on campus or at alternative locations, depending on business needs of the office. Hours Per Week: days/evenings/weekends: Position Type: Adjunct Faculty: Position Summary: Part time adjunct position located in the new Clauson Center for Innovation and Skilled Trades on the Arnold campus. Instructor is responsible for classroom and lab instruction in the Skilled Trades electrical, HVAC, low voltage, carpentry, construction and plumbing trades. The instructor is to follow the curriculum outline and learning expectations as provided. Content is housed in Canvas (online learning platform). Instructors must have some computer experience, expertise in the trades and the ability to effectively manage a classroom. Prior teaching experience is not required. A desire to share your knowledge of the industry with future skilled trades workers is a must!
