Systems Engineering Project Manager

Job description

Leidos is currently seeking an experienced individual for a role supporting a dynamic customer acquisition program office. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical planning; system hardware, software, and network design; development and integration; verification and validation; and fielding. The candidate will also continuously evaluate technical alternatives, including risk, supportability, and system-level analyses. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: - Provide technical advice and input to the customer’s Chief Engineer to help establish the strategic foundation for critical national capabilities and future initiatives - Continually assess the customer’s business practices and recommend new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans to improve mission effectiveness - Serve as the Chief Engineer’s technical lead on large, complex projects - Resolve highly complex, multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of programs or projects - Lead development of highly innovative products and solutions through collaboration with subject matter experts - Execute systems engineering activities,...
