Description University Physicians Association is looking for a full-time, Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to for Tranquility Sleep Specialists, PLLC . The NP/PA consults with both new patients and established patients who have sleep disorders at two locations. Candidate will have a close working relationship with the Medical Director to ensure patient care standards are met throughout two locations. In all interactions, the Nurse Practitioner ensures the first and lasting impression of Tranquility Sleep Specialists as a provider of excellence in patient care. Primary/Essential Job Functions: - Examine patients and establish a medical diagnosis by reviewing client history including sleep assessment, complaints and physical examination. - Provide and coordinate care for patients throughout the continuum of care to assure that care is timely, appropriate, of high quality and cost effective. - Identify, develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for a patient to promote, maintain, and restore healthy sleep. - Nurse Practitioner treats patients, colleagues and staff with respect and courtesy.
