Description The UM-Flint School of Nursing is seeking to hire one adjunct clinical lecturer for fall 2025 to teach NUR 219 (Competency Based Assessment I). This is a 3-credit course requiring admission to the Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program and will be taken concurrently with NUR 240 (Adult Nursing Care I). Adjunct lecturers will work in collaboration with lead faculty. Course Description : Introduction to the basics of clinical nursing practice. Students engage in competency-based learning aligned with The Essentials: Core competencies for Professional Nursing Education and focusing on key skills needed to provide patient care. Students engage in hands-on activities in the clinical and simulation center setting to ensure the development of these competencies.
