Hourly Pay Range: $35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Speech Language Pathologist I , Inpatient, Days, Per Diem - Location: Chicago, IL - Per Diem- Hours as needed - Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, Rotating on call on Saturdays; Rotating holidays - Required Travel: no What you will do: - Knowledge of federal, state and local laws that apply to job and area of responsibility. - Provides quality Speech Therapy services to patients including assessment, VFS, treatment intervention, patient family education, referrals, re-evaluations and discharge planning based on the age and developmental status of the patient. Service provision may include direct, group, monitored and consultative approaches. - Prepares and maintains accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing as required by Medicare, third party payers, and JCAHO/HFAP. Assures co-signature on notes and evaluations if waiting on licensure exam results. - Reports on patient/resident progress at staffing and other conferences. - Teaches appropriate speec...
