Summary and Purpose: We are actively seeking a new pastor who will partner with our leadership board and congregation to help shape and lead us toward an exciting and purposeful future. Education: - Bible or Theology degree at undergraduate level or higher - Credentialed and licensed by the C&MA or working toward it/willing to work toward it Pastoral Experience: - 3 - 5 years ministry experience as an associate or lead pastor - A demonstrated commitment to the spiritual growth and health of the local church Family: - Biblical Teaching/Preaching - Solid, biblically based teaching and preaching - Doctrinally sound, including a firm belief in the inerrancy and authority of Scripture - Evangelism - A heart for the lost - Leadership & Ministry Development - Able to lead as well as help others develop leadership skills - Empowers others to lead in their own gifting and ministry areas - Community Involvement and Teamwork - Have a presence in the community - Relates well to others in one on one, small group, and large group settings. - Team Visionary Perspective - Church Unity & Growth - Equipping the body - Single or married - If married, wife is willing to participate in church life.
