Skills: - 1 to 3 years progressive HR experience - Proficient with MS Office Suite - Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems - UltiPro (UKG) knowledge helpful - Payroll processing knowledge - Demonstrated background of general HR practices, FMLA/LOA, Benefits and Recruitment - Must have high level of attention to details - Able to organize and complete tasks to set standards - Knowledge and understating of HR practices and policies - Labor union experience preferred - Transportation experience is helpful - Must maintain confidentiality and safeguarding of sensitive - Must have effective communication skills, both written and oral - Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines - Able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business; to include weekend and holidays - Delivery of excellent customer service to fellow employees that have general questions and concerns - An ethical approach to HR practices - Strong interpersonal skills - Intermediate computer skills - Must be able to initiate troubleshooting when needed and provide resolution - Must be self-motivated and be able to work without direct supervision...
