Overview The Spanish Bilingual Planning Coordinator I is a member of Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Child and Family Support Program. The Spanish Bilingual Planning Coordinator I provides family centered coordination services to infants, toddlers, and their families who are eligible for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)’s Part C, Early Intervention. Responsibilities: - Provide home- and center-based family centered services to eligible (Part C) infants and toddlers and their families. Duties include: - Developing collaborative relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries. - Determining with the family the concerns, priorities, and needs of the child and family. - Jointly developing and revising the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) as needed. - Monitoring service delivery. - Attend and actively participate in Part C (Baltimore Infant and Toddlers Program (BITP) eligibility determination evaluations and family assessments to develop the IFSP. - Complete and maintain monthly contacts in Spanish with all families (telephone, home visits, agency visits) and appropriately document and submit billing in a timely manner. - Effectively mon...
