Title: Advanced Practice Provider I/II Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Breast Surgery Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Independent management of High Risk breast patients. Performs all duties of the Advanced Practice Provider I. Provides float and cross coverage within other service lines, as requested. Performs advanced procedures and surgical assisting (i.e. Robotic, central lines). Performs new patient consults independently, as needed. Reviews new patient referrals, determines appropriate disease site and patient's timing of schedule and whether additional information needs to be obtained prior to or upon visit. Performs clinic preparation including template management; reviews diagnostic imaging and lab work. Identifies the learning needs of nursing, ancillary clinical staff, providers, and students. Educates clinical staff including nursing, residents, fellows, and other healthcare interns and students. Acts as a mentor for healthcare students and new employees.
