Job Title: 3D Modeling Specialist Job Classification: Lab and Research Support, Student Department: Library & Academic Technology Services Hiring Manager: Brett Harper: Contact: b_harper@baylor.edu: Work Schedule: Flexible, but hours must overlap with standard business hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) Desired Length of Employment: Ongoing: Pay Rate: 15: Job Description: The Experiential Learning (EL) team seeks a Graduate Student Employee (GSE) to provide 3D modeling services to students, faculty, and staff for the purposes of academic engagement and research. Work will begin in Spring 2025 and continue indefinitely, with potential summer employment negotiable. General responsibilities include: -Create custom, printable 3D models to support academic and research projects. Qualifications: -Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at Baylor University. -Advanced proficiency with at least one major 3D modeling software, including, but not limited to: Rhinoceros 3D, AutoDesk Inventor, Blender, or SolidWorks. -Experience with 2D drafting (e.g., AutoCAD) is preferred but not required. -Familiarity with creative methods of teaching, tutoring, or other forms of instruction. -Prior experien...
