Cut and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment. - Look at blueprints or plans for the finished products. - Fitting up and tack welding weldments. - Making jigs or fixtures for higher quantity orders. - Checking dimensions of assemblies or parts, overall quality, appearance, and soundness of welds. - Responsible for the quality of the projects he/she oversees. - Ability to TIG, MIG, Stick, flux core Steel, Stainless and Aluminum. - Maintain premises and equipment to the highest possible standards to maintain a professional image. - Ensure all PPE, safety and company rules are followed. - Other duties as assigned.
