API 1104 or API 1107 Welder Certification is preferred. THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION Primary Duties: 1. Conducts fabrication, design and welding of natural gas mains and service lines. 2. Fabricates portions of the system which include, but are not limited to, meter manifolds, industrial meter installations, measuring stations, pressure-regulating facilities, protective barricades, and other facilities needed for the system. 3. Performs tapping and plugging operations on pipelines of various sizes and pressures. 4. Assists Construction and Maintenance (C and M) as needed. 5. Demonstrates and applies the knowledge, skills and abilities to safely, timely and efficiently complete assignments within Company policies, procedures and applicable regulations. 6. Maintains records of work assignments including drawings, maps, measurements, man hours, equipment hours, mileage and materials used reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
