In your role you get first-hand experience in Test setup and conformance testing in Ethernet LAB and will be an integral part of the team that works on this topic. The Ethernet components used in modern automotive networks—particularly Ethernet switches—play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and Quality of Service (QoS) of end to end Ethernet communication. Therefore, these switches must comply not only with industry standards such as IEEE and Open Alliance but also with the VW Group’s internal requirements defined in the QLAHs (technology specific performance specifications).
