Location : Rochester, NY, On-Site: Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm Compensation : $30.00-$34.00, based on experience QVI is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe set-up operator to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components according to specifications with tight tolerances. This is considered a senior level position but will train the right person with the right skills, aptitude, and commitment. Role and Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC lathe(s), ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. - Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy of dimensions and tolerances. - Collaborate with engineering and operation team members to achieve quality standards and production efficiency. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment according to our 6S policies - Play a pivotal ro...
