Youth Justice Worker (Norfolk Youth Justice Service) | 10513 | Secondment Opportunity / Temporary Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2028 | 37 hours per week | £34,434 to £36.363 per annum | Grade H | Norwich / Great Yarmouth This is an exciting opportunity to join Norfolk Youth Justice Service. We have posts based in Norwich and Great Yarmouth until the 31st March 2028. Youth Justice Worker is a key role in our multi-disciplinary service. Primarily, you will be expected to engage, assess and work directly and creatively with children aged 10-17 who are at risk of offending or who have offended, whilst safeguarding their welfare, protecting the public and helping restore the damage caused to the victims of their crimes. As a Youth Justice Worker (YJW), you will manage a caseload of low to medium risk cases within the Out of Court Diversion team and develop, contribute to, and participate in interventions to prevent offending and re-offending by children. Your primary focus will be on the engagement, assessment, planning, delivering interventions, public protection and management of safeguarding concerns.
