Head of Private Asset Valuation

Job description

As the Head of Private Asset Valuation, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the valuation process for private asset investments within Vanguard. Responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day team operations, developing and reviewing valuation models, onboarding new portfolio investments, overseeing and strengthening relationships with third‑party valuation firms, and presenting clear, data‑driven valuation results to key stakeholders. As a leader in this emerging area, you will help build and scale the team, services, processes, and capabilities that will define Vanguard’s future in private‑asset valuation. Responsibilities: Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
