What you will do: Responsibilities and skills specific to this role include, but are not limited to: - Grow in a fulfilling career as an Airport Security Screener at the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. - You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while ensuring passenger safety by identifying dangerous objects in baggage, cargo, and/ or on the passengers themselves, and preventing those objects from being transported aboard the aircraft. - Passenger and Baggage screening using various electronic imaging and screening equipment - Perform critical safety tasks such as conducting pat-down searches, operating x-ray machines and hand-held wands - Courteously communicate and interact with travelers, providing directions and responding to inquiries calmly. - Lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds or assisting others in li...
