Job description

The Safeguard Officer is responsible for ensuring all duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the “TSS Crew Safeguard Policy and Procedures.” Requirements: - Deliver excellent customer service always, with all clients, terminal employees, vendors, and ship’s crew members, as prescribed in training guidelines. - Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and directives. - Proper safe-keeping and storage of all Sensitive Security Information (SSI) materials. - Ensure all escorts of safeguarded crew members are done in a professional, respectful, and companionate manner at all times. - Ability to safeguard crew members at all times through the entire safeguard process and ensuring their safe arrival to their destination. - Maintain accurate timekeeping of security officer hours and time-off using payroll software. - Maintain adequate staffing levels in accordance with client requirements. - Ensure all personnel are given required and requested breaks. - Write and maintain reports of daily activities and irregularities, or unusual occurrences. - Ensure all required reports are executed in a timely manner, when necessary. - Ensure accurate vehicle...
