HOURS OF WORK: 8 Hour Daily/247 Calendar Days Yearly STATUS: Classified – Non-Exempt, Full Time POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing HVAC services identifying repair and replacement needs. This position is expected to install, maintain, repair, and upgrade HVAC systems. This position is part of the maintenance team and reports to the lead HVAC. PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleans air conditioning and heating units ensuring units are operating within safety guidelines. Coordinates with assigned lead/supervisor and other trades to complete projects efficiently. Documenting activities and conveying information thorough written reports. Fabricates equipment parts meeting specialty needs and replacing unavailable parts. Identifies causes of problems and failures in HVAC systems. Informs the team regarding procedures, status of work orders, and provides necessary information for making decisions complying with standards and regulations.
