MSSU is c urrently seeking candidates for a clinical instructor or tenure-track assistant professor for an on campus Social Work Program in Joplin, MO starting August 2026. This position includes an appointment as the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program Director. Successful candidates will have demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. Candidate must hold an MSW from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program with two years post degree experience in social work practice; candidate must also have a PhD or DSW in Social Work to be considered for a ranked tenure-track appointment. It is preferred that the candidate has a minimum of three years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level and a record of publications. Preference will be given to candidates who are hold a social work license and a record of successful experience in administration in a social work agency or educational setting. Candidates with work experience directly related to oversite and implementation of CSWE accreditation in BSW and/or MSW programs are strongly preferred. BS...
