NDT Technician - 24 month Limited

Job description

The NDE Technician performs NDT on welds and components based on requests initiated by Production, QC or Engineering and approved by the NDE Supervisor. This position ensures that specifications, class rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions are followed and met at each stage of construction. The successful candidate will carry out daily in-process or final NDE inspections to identify non-conformities with contract requirements, help develop corrective actions, and communicate requirements to shop personnel. This role may also be required to support the afternoon or graveyard shift team and/or assist with NDT coordination as needed. The NDE Technician works closely with the NDE Coordinator and reports directly to the NDE Supervisor. Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver. This is a 24 months limited term employment with eligible benefits and 15 days of vacation.
