Clean Harbors in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a Hazardous Waste Specialist (known internally as an Insite Chemist) to join their safety conscious team on-site at Syncrude ! The successful candidate will be responsible for working both indoors and outdoors, assisting with daily lab packages at our customer facility. Additional responsibilities include the loading, packaging and segregation of materials and waste products, completion of Health & Safety plans, conducting projects according to Federal, State and Local regulations while following company policies and procedures and assisting in the safe and compliant execution of assigned lab pack projects. Schedule: 10 on, 10 off schedule. 12-hour workdays. Camp accommodations available. Why work for Clean Harbors?: 3-5 years’ experience Hazardous Waste Management. Class 3 license required with clean driving record. Manual transmission operating experience. Comfortable working a10 on and 10 off schedule, 12 hours day.
