Description Opportunity available for a Pediatric Radiologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked the Best Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth, and Children’s Health, ranked in all 10 pediatric subspecialties by U.S. News & World Report. This individual will make a significant impact in the field of Pediatric Radiology through faculty development and new research initiatives in the Pediatric Radiology Division. The candidate will have dedicated research academic time and is expected to initiate and manage research projects; generate new ideas and proposals; identify strategic funding opportunities; and lead by building Pediatric Radiology faculty investigators into effective teams. The candidate will serve as a mentor to the current faculty to increase the number and quality of research endeavors, and will also connect interested Diagnostic Radiology trainees and medical students with Pediatric Radiology faculty investigators, and ensure all clinical research is coordinated with the Radiology Clinical Research Office.
