Description Production Shift Supervisor Job : The production shift supervisor is responsible for managing shift employees within a specified manufacturing department. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Requirements: Production Shift Supervisor Job Duties: - Manage the activities of the production floor, under the direction of the business unit manager and follow established procedures and approved processes. - Supervise departmental production operations - Strictly follow the process parameters specified by the process engineers - Organize the team to meet production targets per production schedule - Ensure the products meet quality standards - Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental shift activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion - Monitor the condition of production equipment; coordinate repairs with maintenance technicians - Ensure the completion of the operators’ portion of equipment maintenance as specified by the maintenance department - Complete and pro...
