Clinical Technician II (EKG)- Stead Family Children's Hosptial - ( 26001973 ) Description Position Summary: Under general supervision, administers EKGs on Pediatric Specialty Clinic and throughout the Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Responsible for editing reports of EKGs to the computer, as well as assisting with other diagnostic testing procedures in the Pediatric EKG/Holter/Treadmill laboratories. Position Responsibilities: · Perform EKGs for patients located in both the Pediatric Specialty Clinic and throughout the Stead Family Children’s Hospital including completing appropriate recordings and paperwork during and after analysis. · Notify providers with EKG results when appropriate, responsible for communication with inpatient unit clerks as necessary · Troubleshoot concerns with EKG machine as well as within IntelliSpace ECG. · Responsible for maintaining fully stocked carts for EKG’s · Performs necessary maintenance on equipment to ensure operational condition. · Provides assistance and answers questions for clinical technicians, externs, physicians and technicians in outlying hospitals. · Performs placement of Holter monitors and 30-day event recorders. · Holter testing r...
