Job Title: Sonic Driller Job Summary: This position is to ensure Sonic drilling operations are executed in accordance with the drilling plan from implementation, completion and abandonment of drill sites. The Driller is responsible for leading the crew and working with the crew in preparing the equipment and site for the drilling operation, setup and breakdown of drilling sites, which includes repetitive bending, lifting and climbing which are done throughout the normal workday. This individual promotes safety, reports safety problems, incidents, accidents, or irregularities. Duties/Responsibilities: - Able to operate Sonic drilling rigs and related equipment safely and efficiently. - Willing to travel and work out of town for stretches of 10–12 days. - Experience in environmental and geotechnical drilling. - Perform equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and minor repairs. - Conduct pre-trip inspections and establish control zones. - Follow all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned.
