About the Department: The Programs Department oversees the strategic allocation and utilization of resources for humanitarian and development projects in over 30 countries, ensuring compliance as a registered charity. This involves aspects of administration, proposal development, project management, and remote and in-person monitoring and evaluation, to name a few. Program staff excel in proactive problem-solving and stakeholder management, capable of navigating diverse needs and ensuring effective communication. Job Purpose: The Domestic Programs Intern will support Islamic Relief Canada ( IRC ) ’s Domestic Programs team by researching funding opportunities, assisting with outreach to potential partners and donors, and providing administrative support to help advance IRC’s domestic programming objectives .
