Job description

Introduction: Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking Depot Technicians who will be responsible for performing bench repairs on Toshiba point of sale equipment, as well as equipment from other manufacturers. This includes (but is not limited to) printers, displays, system units and individual components. This Toshiba facility performs repairs on customer-owned equipment in a fast-paced environment requiring the highest possible levels of quality and consistency. Additionally, this role may be required to train new staff, perform system-based administrative duties, and perform basic work area maintenance including restocking of inventory items, cleaning, material removal, etc. Other responsibilities include the use of diagnostics, mechanical tests and visual inspection to determine defects and required repairs. Repairs generally include replacement of parts, cleaning inside and outside of the machine, and entering system transactions to log activity and parts consumed.
