Job Description Summary Located at MUSC Health’s main hospital, 9 Center is a nine-bed ER overflow, Admission and Holding unit open 24/7. 9Center is designed to help alleviate boarding in the Emergency Departments. The unit serves direct and new admissions coming into the hospital from the ED under the medical-surgical service lines with a variety of diagnoses. 9 Center is designated and designed for the short-term treatment, observation until discharge, or next day transfer to inpatient units.
