Academic Req : Required – Registered nurse license; Preferred – Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing Certifications : Good standing as a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Texas Board of Nursing; current BLS certifications (PALS preferred), First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention Work experience: Required – At least one year of experience as a RN; Preferred – pediatric nursing experience Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables: 1. Meet and maintain all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position. 2. Provide triage services to assess patient needs and evaluate symptoms. This includes answering patient inquiries, providing patient teaching, and determining the urgency and appropriate course of action. 3. Have extensive knowledge of medical documentation to be able to generate, decipher, and correct for proper documentation methods in accordance with state and federal guidelines. 4.
