Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time | $20/HR Serving Clients in the Mt. Pocono / Pocono Summit Area $20/HR | Weekly Pay | Consistent Daytime Hours Abound Health is seeking a compassionate, dependable Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their home and community. This individual enjoys independence, positive attention, and meaningful engagement throughout the day. About the Role: As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support that helps the individual live safely, independently, and with dignity. The person supported is nearly blind, has a seizure diagnosis (with no recent seizures), and benefits from patient, encouraging guidance. They enjoy doing tasks independently but will ask for help when needed. Behavioral challenges have significantly decreased over the past year, and they respond well to positive reinforcement.
