Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: - Design and deploy cloud architectures and services using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, with a focus on PaaS offerings across multiple cloud platforms. - Develop and implement multi-cloud strategies to leverage the strengths of various cloud providers and ensure interoperability and integration between services. - Deploy and manage Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution, optimizing for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. - Implement advanced security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across multi-cloud environments. - Design and implement automation solutions and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Ansible and Jenkins to streamline development and deployment processes. - Set up sophisticated monitoring solutions to track performance metrics and optimize cloud services for efficiency and reliability. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior engineers, guiding them i...
