Overview The Speech-Language Pathologist III: Clinical Research is a clinical specialist who provides direct patient/student care for assessing and treating communication (i.e., speech,language, literacy), cognitive/learning, oral motor, and feeding/swallowingdisorders. This position will provide speech-language pathology (SLP) services in accordance with departmental, regulatory, and their program-specific function*,maintain documentation related to services offered, and participate in intra- andinterdisciplinary training programs. (*e.g., school-based positions: services are implemented as detailed in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for each student). The incumbent will provide leadership specific to their documented areaof specialization, including but not limited to clinical training activities, development of evidence-based evaluation and service delivery models, participation in clinical outcome activities, review and interpretation of literature, and dissemination of findings through formal and informal presentations.
